DBA Literary Department
DBA's Literary Department maintains that by working with a moderate number of clients, each agent is given the time to both nurture new talent and pursue an array of opportunities in film, television, theatre, and new media for all of their clients. The department represents writers, directors, producers, playwrights, showrunners, animators, script doctors, and a variety of other creative talent. Moreover, they have a track record of packaging their clients' properties and providing the services that enable clients to take their ideas from concept to final product. The department works with networks, production companies, studios, independent film producers, theatre producers and Internet content providers seeking multi-dimensional creative talent and expertise.
While DBA's literary agents do not accept unsolicited material for consideration, they are constantly seeking fresh "voices" in the marketplace. They find such "voices" by combing the N.Y. and L.A. theatre scenes, and by attending film festivals, entertainment symposiums and other industry gatherings. Such efforts continually enable the department to enhance an already diversified and talented client roster .
